"The Library of Babel" is a short story by Jorge Luis Borges. In the story he describes the architecture of an infinite library, which is the universe.

I designed it as a continuous line of text printed on a 1 inch tape the runs for about 75 ft.

So I just finished the popular Middle Grade series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I really loved the series as a whole, it renewed my interest in Greek mythology and history. I decided to depict the characters as they rested before the final battle, I figured they would be a little beat up. This first one is Thalia.

As a kid I remember searching my Grandma's purse and finding things like a clove of garlic, crosses and other paraphernalia that I could only imagine were used for the slaying of vampires, I may have watched too much Buffy as a child. This is done with a letterpress, some of it is a linocut, the rest is done with a photosensitive plate.

Final Senior Survey

E. M. Cioran wrote several books of Philosophy in which he explained his views on life, birth, and death. I have redesigned some of the book covers, by sewing and embroidering the titles on various fabrics and papers. These are works in progress so parts are bound to change.

I would love to read some more of his work and recommend his work to anyone in need of some optimism.

I wanted to create an illustration about postpartum depression without using a baby or a mother. I decided that the furniture of a baby's room could represent the mother and child, and the mood and lighting represent the emotions and feelings a new mother may feel.

As a child my friends and I created our own games, many of these games solely existed in our own backyards. I decided to create an illustrated manual to show the games we played as kids throughout my suburban town, games like Water Wars, Cheese, Tootie Fruitie, Spit, and Manhunt.

So it is my senior year of college and I am trying to get my work out there. I am working on a couple of children's book ideas at the moment. I am also interested in doing comic and editorial work. I hope you enjoy watching my process and work as time goes by.
